• Battery Compartment: Need 2pcs 9V batteries (battery not included)

• TONE Mode: For standard wire tracing and open circuit locating.

• CONT Mode: For persistent signal output, ideal for locating short circuits.

• Mode Switch: Used to adjust the switching between two modes

• Power Off: Indicates that the device has been turned off

• Probe Sensor: The highly sensitive tip for detecting the transmitter's signal.

• Probe: It can bend freely and is suitable for detecting various environments

• Speaker: Provides audible feedback—a changing tone—to indicate signal strength.

• On/Off & Sensitivity Rotary Switch: Powers the unit and allows you to adjust the sensitivity to filter out background noise and focus on the target wire.

• TEST Button: Used to check the receiver's functionality and battery status.

• Red Test Lead: For making direct connections when needed.

• Black Test Lead: For completing the circuit during direct connection tests.

▶ Automotive Wire Tracking

• Method: Connect the transmitter to a fuse socket or a specific pin in a connector.

• Use Case: Perfect for identifying a specific wire's path from the engine bay to the dashboard, through door looms, or to tail lights without the need for complex wiring diagrams.

▶ Automotive Locating Open Circuit

• Method: Connect the transmitter downstream of a suspected break, such as at a fuse socket (load side) or a connector after a switch.

• Use Case: Quickly locate the exact point where a wire is broken or severed. Simply trace the wire from the transmitter connection point; the signal will disappear at the location of the open circuit, allowing for fast and precise repair.

Easily and safely get clear test results for break points, short circuits, and wire tracing without damaging insulation or compromising safety.

▶ Receiver: Features a highly sensitive 7-segment flexible probe for precise signal detection and easy access in tight spaces.

▶ Transmitter: Equipped with 4.7-foot red and black test lead cables for a secure and versatile connection to the vehicle's battery or fuse box.

▶ How To Use For Optimal Performance

① To achieve the best possible range and accuracy with your V210, correct positioning is key. The receiver’s sensor (the black cylinder) should be positioned perpendicular (at a 90° angle) to the wire being traced.

② For wires running horizontally, position the sensor either directly above or below the cable.

③ Maintain this perpendicular alignment as you move along the wire's path for a strong, consistent signal.

This technique ensures the most reliable detection of the transmitted signal, allowing you to trace wires accurately over longer distances and pinpoint faults with confidence.
